Tournament Entry Fee
The tournament entry fee will be $2,500 per team. The entry fee includes the following:

  • All hotel accommodations at the Hilton
  • Full breakfast
  • Lunch Sunday thru Wednesday
  • Welcoming party Sunday evening (Dinner included)
  • Unlimited use of practice facility
  • Coach's cart
  • Tournament gifts
  • Tournament lockers and shoe service
  • Full access to player/coach's lounge

Tournament Format
The tournament will be 54 holes conducted over 3 days. It will be a team stroke play event with the low 4 scores counting each day. There will be a team and an individual champion crowned.

Ties
In the case of a tie for either the team or individual crown, a playoff will be held immediately on the 18th hole.

Pairings
All groups will play as threesomes and players/teams will be re-paired after each round according to score.

Tee Times
Tee times will begin at 8am each day beginning off both the 1st and 10th tees. Groups will tee off in 10 minute intervals.

Accommodations
All teams will be hosted by the Hilton of Stockton on March Lane in Stockton, CA. The stay includes brand new rooms, flat-screens televisions and free high-speed internet access. The hotel is approximately two miles from the course. Brandon Goethals will be contacting you shortly regarding booking your rooms.

Attire
In keeping with the prestige of the event, the tournament committee requests that all players and coaches wear pants throughout the week (practice round included). We thank you in advance for adhering to our request. Soft spikes, as always, will be required.

Meals
Breakfast and lunch will be provided Monday through Wednesday. Lunch will also be provided on Sunday prior to the College-Am with dinner following play. Snacks and drinks will be available to all players and coaches throughout the week.

Travel Information
All teams flying to the event are encouraged to fly into Sacramento International Airport (SMF). It is approximately 45 minutes driving time from the airport to the golf course/hotel. Oakland Airport (OAK) and San Francisco (SFO) are also options. They are both approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes from Stockton depending on traffic. Directions to the hotel and golf course will be provided to each team individually depending on your means of travel.

Scoring
Scoring will be LIVE each day with real-time on course scoreboards (5 total) for spectator viewing. Internet scoring will also be available inside the clubhouse as well as in the player/coach lounge.

Player/Coach Lounge
There will be a player/coach lounge in the clubhouse that will provided tournament updates, snacks, drinks, live scoring, newspapers, as well as internet access.

Spectator Food and Beverage
Food and beverages for spectators will be available at the clubhouse throughout the duration of the event as well as jalapeno sliders, chips and a drink for $5 on Wednesday of the event.

Team Parking
Individual spaces will be reserved for each participating team and will be located in the South parking area of the country club.

Range and Practice Facility
Bridgestone Golf will be providing the range balls for the Pacific Invitational. The range will open to the players beginning at 6:45am and will remain open for tournament participants until dusk everyday.

Team Lockers
Each team will be assigned 2 lockers that will be available for storage.

On-Site Athletic Trainer
There will be an athletic trainer on site during the entire competition. Before competition they will be located in the locker room. After all teams have teed off, they will be roaming the golf course.

Championship Trophy
There will be a perpetual championship trophy presented to the winning team that will remain at the University of the Pacific. Both the team champion and individual champions name will be inscribed on the trophy.

2011 Tournament Entry Qualification
Teams finishing in the top 4 will automatically be invited back to the 2011 Pacific Invitational.

Team Line Ups
All team line ups will be due by October 27, 2010 although the committee asks that you turn in your lineup as soon as possible. Please enter your team line up on the enclosed Line Up Sheet and return before the due date. Line Up Sheets can be faxed to (209) 946-2731.

Coaches Meeting
There will be a brief coaches meeting held at Brookside Country Club on Sunday (Just prior to the Welcoming Party)

Welcome/College-Am Party
There will be a welcome party for all teams, sponsors, and college-am participants on Sunday evening. The event will be held at Brookside Country Club. Business casual attire is required. There will be a guest speaker. (We ask that all teams attend this event as dinner will be served and this is a great opportunity to say thank you to the tournament sponsors)

Team Practice Rounds/College-Am
The practice round for players not participating in the college-am will be a Sunday morning shotgun (TBA) The college-am shotgun will begin at 12:00pm on Sunday (Lunch starts at 11:00am). One or two players from each team will be required to participate in the college-am. (BYU EXEMPT) The practice facility will open at 7:00am on Sunday morning for all participating teams.
