Stockton, Calif. - The University of the Pacific golf program announced the field for the 2007 Food 4 Less Pacific Invitational this November 4-7. The 14-team field, headlined by returning champion Brigham Young and the national powerhouses Oregon and UNC Charlotte will compete once again at Brookside Country Club.
The four-day tournament, consisting of a College AM on Sunday and three days of tournament play will feature a field that includes; Pacific, BYU, Oregon, UNC Charlotte, Northern Colorado, Ohio State, Marquette, Kansas State, San Jose State, Cal State Northridge, UC Santa Barbara, UC Davis, Fresno State and Rice.
"We've put together a great field once again this year, having expanded not only throughout the West Coast but nationally as well," said head coach Brandon Goethals. "This is part of the vision to create one of the greatest collegiate tournaments in the nation. Last year we did it right and this year we've stepped up the field, the amenities and the overall tournament experience."
