All volunteers please check in at
the clubhouse at 7:30 a.m.

Check-In:

Volunteer check-in and registration will be held in the Clubhouse at Brookside Country Club. Daily check-in will begin at 7:30 am Monday-Wednesday. We encourage you to show up at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled time. Donuts and coffee will be provided.

Attire:

There will be no standardized dress code. We just encourage you to bring a jacket or pullover along with an umbrella if there is a chance of rain. (No Jeans please)

Area of Responsibilities

Scoring Director:

This person will be in charge of all Golfstat scoring and radio communication to on-course scoring volunteers and on-course scoreboard volunteers.

Scoring Entry Person:

This person will be responsible for entering all scores into the computer as they come into scoring center.

On-Course Scoring Volunteer:

These volunteers will be located at the green and will record the scores of the players as they leave the green. Depending on what hole you are on, you may ask the players for one or two scores. After recording the score(s), you will then radio in the scores to scoring central. Scoring central will confirm scores that you just gave and let you know that the scores given are entered.

On-Course Scoreboard Volunteer:

These volunteers will be responsible for managing the on-course leaderboards. As scores come into scoring central, team and individual leader information will be sent out to the on-course scoreboard volunteers. Once the information is gathered, the on-course scoreboard volunteer will update the leaderboards.

On-Course Snack & Beverage Person:

This person will be responsible for making sure that all on-course snacks and drinks are replenished so to be enjoyed by the competitors and coaches.

Main Scoreboard Scoring:

This person will be responsible for writing all scores on score sheets at the main scoreboard.

Runners:

Runners will be responsible for a variety of things. They will report directly to the Tournament Director.
